Adelaide Badminton Centre was founded by a group of people passionate about badminton. Located on 60 Hardys Road, Torrensville, a suburb five minutes west from the city, ABC is easily accessible by car as well as bus. Adelaide Badminton Centre is the biggest purpose-built badminton facility in South Australia, with 9 International Standard courts and a Pro-Shop offering a wide range of equipment from all major brands. From social players looking for exercise, to state athletes training for national tournaments, Adelaide Badminton Centre is home to players of all levels.

Adelaide Badminton Centre is installed with a Combination-Elastic system, which consist of an area-elastic substructure (Wooden Sleepers and Particle board subfloor support) with a point-elastic resilient surface (Victor Rubberised, Slip Resistant Floor). By engaging both types of elasticity, they respond to impact both locally and across the wide surface area. As a result of this dual response, combination systems are widely regarded as one of the best sports flooring options in terms of comfort and safety.
